Amy Schumer, Bill Hader star in first 'Trainwreck' trailer

The actress wrote the screenplay, with "Bridesmaids" helmer Judd Apatow as director.

NEW YORK, Feb. 11 (UPI) -- Amy Schumer and Bill Hader star in the first trailer for Trainwreck.

The 33-year-old comedian portrays a perennially single woman caught off guard by a new relationship with a sports doctor (Bill Hader). The preview sees the character avoid romance at all costs before giving Aaron Conners (Hader) a shot.

Trainwreck was written by Schumer and directed by Judd Apatow (Bridesmaids). The movie co-stars Tilda Swinton, Brie Larson and LeBron James, with appearances by John Cena, Daniel Radcliffe and Marisa Tomei.

Trainwreck opens in theaters July 17. Schumer came to fame on NBC reality competition Last Comic Standing, and will return for a third season of Comedy Central series Inside Amy Schumer on April 21. The actress teased a guest appearance by Amber Rose this week on Twitter.
