Wallace is a med school dropout who falls in love with his roommate Allan's (Adam Driver) cousin, Chantry (Zoe Kazan). He and Chantry form a close friendship, but she has a longtime boyfriend named Ben (Rafe Spall) who stands in the way of a romantic relationship.

What If debuted at the Toronto International Film Festival in September 2013, and will be released August 8 in the U.S. The film is directed by Michael Dowse, and is being distributed by Entertainment One.

Radcliffe is currently busy on Broadway as the star of The Cripple of Inishmaan. The actor is scheduled to appear in a number of upcoming films, including Frankenstein, Brooklyn Bridge and Tokyo Vice.
