'Despicable Me 2' tops U.S. DVD and Blu-ray sales chart

LOS ANGELES, Jan. 13 (UPI) -- The animated adventure "Despicable Me 2" is the top-selling DVD and Blu-ray in the United States, Rentrak announced Monday.

Coming in at No. 2 on the roster for the week ending Jan. 5 is "Fast & Furious 6," followed by "Percy Jackson: Sea of Monsters" at No. 3, "Man of Steel" at No. 4 and "The Lone Ranger" at No. 5.

Rounding out the top tier are "Elysium" at No. 6, "The Wolverine" at No. 7, "Insidious Chapter 2" at No. 8, "Don Jon" at No. 9 and "The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey" at No. 10.

The No. 1 DVD and Blu-ray rental for the week ended Jan. 4 is "We're the Millers."

"Elysium" is No. 2, "The Wolverine" is No. 3, "2 Guns" is No. 4, "Man of Steel" is No. 5, "The Lone Ranger" is No. 6, "The Heat" is No. 7, "Insidious: Chapter 2" is No. 8, "The Internship" is No. 9 and "White House Down" is No. 10.
