LOS ANGELES, Jan. 5 (UPI) -- "Frozen (2013)," with the voice of Kristen Bell, was No. 1 at the weekend box office with $20.722 million in receipts.
"Paranormal Activity: The Marked Ones" was second with $18.2 million.
All studio estimates of gross North American receipts are via Box Office Mojo.
"The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug" dropped to third with $16.25 million after leading the box office for three straight weekends.
"The Wolf of Wall Street" was fourth with $13.4 million; "American Hustle" fifth with $13.2 million; "Anchorman 2: The Legend Continues" sixth with $11.1 million; "Saving Mr. Banks" seventh with $9.057 million; "The Secret Life of Walter Mitty" eighth with $8.2 million; "The Hunger Games: Catching Fire" ninth with $7.4 million.
"Grudge Match" was 10th with $5.41 million.
