Robin Williams may return for third 'Night at the Museum'

HOLLYWOOD, Oct. 19 (UPI) -- U.S. actor Robin Williams may reprise his role as Teddy Roosevelt for the third installment of the "Night at the Museum" franchise, The Hollywood Reporter said.

Williams played the long-dead president in the first two "Night at the Museum" films, alongside lead Ben Stiller.

The franchise, directed by Shawn Levy, has grossed close to $1 billion.

The third film is set to begin shooting in February 2013, though it is unknown if actors Amy Adams, Bill Hader and Christopher Guest will return in their roles, The Hollywood Reporter said Friday.

Stiller and Levy are set to return in the third film, which is set in London.
