'Oz the Great and Powerful' is top-selling DVD in U.S.

LOS ANGELES, July 16 (UPI) -- The family fantasy flick "Oz the Great and Powerful" is the top-selling DVD and Blu-ray in the United States, Rentrak announced.

Coming in at No. 2 on the DVD and Blu-ray sales roster for the week ending July 7 is "Despicable Me," followed by "Jack the Giant Slayer" at No. 3, "The Call" at No. 4 and "Identity Thief" at No. 5.

Rounding out the top tier are "Hansel & Gretel: Witch Hunters" at No. 6, "Snitch" at No. 7, "A Good Day to Die Hard" at No. 8, "The Incredible Burt Wonderstone" at No. 9 and "21 and Over" at No. 10.

The No. 1 DVD and Blu-ray rental is "The Call."

"Identity Thief" is No. 2, "A Good Day to Die Hard" is No. 3, "Oz the Great and Powerful" is No. 4, "Snitch" is No. 5, "Hansel & Gretel: Witch Hunters" is No. 6, "Side Effects" is No. 7, "Warm Bodies" is No. 8, "Cloud Atlas" is No. 9 and "Safe Haven" is No. 10.
