LOS ANGELES, D.C., June 30 (UPI) -- The animated "Monsters University," with the voices of Billy Crystal and others, led the North American box office for a second weekend with $46.18 million.
"The Heat," starring Sandra Bullock and Melissa McCarthy, was a close second with $40 million.

All studio estimates of gross box office receipts are via Box Office Mojo.
"World War Z" was third with $29.8 million; "White House Down" fourth with $25.7 million; "Man of Steel" fifth with $20.82 million; "This is the End" sixth with $8.7 million; "Now You See Me" seventh with $5.5 million; "Fast & Furious 6" eighth with $2.41 million; "Star Trek Into Darkness" ninth with $2.040 million.
"The Internship" was 10th with $1.425 million.
