ORLANDO, Fla., Nov. 8 (UPI) -- "Transformers: The Ride -- 3D" is to open next summer at Florida's Universal Orlando Resort, park officials said.

"We broke the mold and have taken this ride to a new technological level in terms of blending seamless 3D," Michael Bay, director of the "Transformers" space-robot films and a consultant on the ride, said in a statement this week.
