'Snow White' tops DVD sales, rental charts

LOS ANGELES, Sept. 27 (UPI) -- "Snow White and the Huntsman" is the top-selling DVD and Blu-ray, and No. 1 rental in the United States, Rentrak reported Thursday.

Coming in at No. 2 on the DVD and Blu-ray sales chart for the week ended Sept. 23 is "Beverly Hills Chihuahua 3: Viva La Fiesta!," followed by "The Cabin in the Woods" at No. 3, "The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel" at No. 4 and "Indiana Jones -- The Complete Adventures" at No. 5.

Rounding out the top tier are "Supernatural: The Complete Seventh Season" at No. 6, "The Hunger Games" at No. 7, "Titanic" at No. 8, "Barbie: The Princess & the Popstar" at No. 9 and "Katy Perry: Part of Me" at No. 10.

The No. 2 DVD and Blu-ray rental for the week ended Sept. 22 is "The Cabin in the Woods."

"Battleship" is No. 3, "What to Expect When You're Expecting" is No. 4, "Safe" is No. 5, "Five-Year Engagement" is No. 6, "The Hunger Games" is No. 7, "The Lucky One" is No. 8, "The Dictator" is No. 9 and "The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel" is No. 10.
