NEW YORK, April 9 (UPI) -- Genevieve Sabourin, a 40-year-old Canadian actress, has been arrested in New York for allegedly harassing TV star Alec Baldwin, police said.

The New York Post reported Sabourin was arrested early Monday when she went to the "30 Rock" star's Manhattan apartment building after allegedly sending Baldwin e-mails and text messages, saying she loves him, wants to have his baby and needs money.

Baldwin's doorman phoned the actor, who was in the Hamptons for the weekend, and the actor notified the authorities.

Sabourin was arrested and charged with aggravated harassment and stalking, the Post said.

Police sources told the newspaper Sabourin previously attempted to harass Baldwin in the Hamptons last month, then showed up a few days later at an event he attended at Lincoln Center in Manhattan.
