NEW YORK, Feb. 20 (UPI) -- "My Week with Marilyn" is to expand into 600 American theaters in the days leading up to the Academy Awards ceremony, The Weinstein Co. said.

The film studio announced the film will expand Friday ahead of Sunday's Oscar ceremony. It is currently in 120 theaters.

"This will give audiences a chance to see for the first time or revisit the film in theaters in advance of the awards," the studio said in a news release.
