'Eclipse' wins big at People's Choice show

LOS ANGELES, Jan. 6 (UPI) -- The vampire romance "The Twilight Saga: Eclipse" won the People's Choice Awards for Favorite Movie and Favorite Drama Movie at a ceremony in Los Angeles.

The film's stars, Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart and Taylor Lautner, took home the prize Wednesday night for Favorite On Screen Team and Stewart won the award for Favorite Movie Actress.

"Grown Ups" was named Favorite Comedy Movie and its star Adam Sandler was declared Favorite Comedic Star.

Johnny Depp won the Favorite Movie Actor honor and Zac Efron the title of Favorite Movie Star Under 25.

"House" earned the award for Favorite TV Drama and its co-stars, Lisa Edelstein and Hugh Laurie, earned the accolades of Favorite TV Drama actress and actor.

"Glee" garnered the statuette for Favorite TV Comedy and its star Jane Lynch won the trophy for Favorite TV Comedy Actor.

"How I Met Your Mother" star Neil Patrick Harris won the prize for Favorite TV Comedy Actor, Conan O'Brien was named Favorite Talk Show Host, "Keeping Up with the Kardashians" was declared Favorite TV Guilty Pleasure and "American Idol" won the title of Favorite Competition Show.
