VENICE, Calif., Feb. 11 (UPI) -- A California judge Thursday granted film star Dennis Hopper a restraining order against his estranged wife, Victoria, court records show.

Hopper, 73, who is fighting prostate cancer, recently filed for divorce. He and Victoria were married for 14 years and have one child together.

TMZ said his soon-to-be-ex-wife has been ordered to stay 10 feet away from Hopper; his adult son, Henry; his daughter, Marin; and his assistant, Emily Davis.

Victoria Hopper also is forbidden to enter the actor's main residence in Venice, Calif., or any other portion of the property, the entertainment news Web site said.

She will, however, be allowed to continue living in an apartment on his estate until March 11, 60 days after the divorce petition was filed, under terms of their prenuptial agreement.

TMZ said Hopper was also awarded daily visitation with the couple's 6-year-old daughter Galen.

The actor -- whose films credits include "Rebel Without a Cause," "True Grit," "Easy Rider" and "Apocalypse Now" -- recently starred in the television series "Crash."
