See Naomi Watts as Princess Diana in first 'Diana' trailer

Here's the trailer for "Diana," in which Naomi Watts stars as the enigmatic, beautiful and philanthropic royal often known as the People's Princess.

There's no dialogue in the trailer, but we do see plenty of shots of the 44-year-old Watts looking like Princess Diana, as well as obligatory scenes of the intensely private personality hiding from the press.

Directed by "Downfall's" Oliver Hirschbiegel, "Diana" focuses on Princess Diana's secretive, two-year-long relationship with heart surgeon Dr. Hasnat Khan following her 1996 divorce from Prince Charles.

Naveen Andrews, formerly of "Lost," will star opposite Watts as Dr. Khan.

The film is due out in U.K. theaters this September.
