Julia Stiles debuts baby bump on Instagram: 'I couldn't resist'

Aug. 2 (UPI) -- Mom-to-be Julia Stiles "couldn't resist" debuting her baby bump on Instagram this week.

The 36-year-old actress showed off her growing belly in a photo Tuesday after announcing she's pregnant and expecting her first child with fiancé Preston J. Cook.

"Alright, I couldn't resist," she captioned the picture.

Stiles' rep confirmed in June that Stiles and Cook, an actor and camera assistant, will welcome a baby later this year. The couple met on the set of the 2015 movie Go with Me, and got engaged in Isla Grande, Columbia, on Christmas Eve in 2015.

"All around, it was a really wonderful trip," Stiles told People in August. "We stayed on an island that was really beautiful and there was a lot of great snorkeling."

"I'm not getting a ton of marital advice," she added. "We're really slow on the wedding planning so I haven't really been soliciting advice."

Stiles is known for such films as 10 Things I Hate About You, Save the Last Dance and The Bourne Identity. She most recently starred on the Sky Atlantic series Riviera, which completed a first season in July.
