Lea Michele pays tribute to Cory Monteith with throwback photo

Jan. 24 (UPI) -- Lea Michele remembered her late boyfriend Cory Monteith on social media with a throwback photo featuring the pair.

The uncaptioned Instagram post features Michele laying her head on top of Monteith's chest in what resembles an old-school Polaroid picture.

At the bottom the snapshot is labeled "Bleeker St." and dated "2012."

Michele spent the weekend sharing older photos from her past including looks at her childhood and early acting career.

Michele and Monteith, who met on the set of Glee, were together for a year and a half when the actor died of an accidental drug overdose at age 31 in July of 2013.

The 30-year-old last paid tribute to Monteith in August when she unveiled a new tattoo featuring his Glee character's name Finn.

"We may not have gotten to share a lifetime together.. But the memories.. they're the best of my life.. Love you Cory," she wrote in July on the third anniversary of the actor's death.
