'Spider-Man: Homecoming' star Tom Holland visits children's hospital in costume

ATLANTA, Aug. 19 (UPI) -- Spider-Man: Homecoming star Tom Holland took a break from filming to visit the Egelston Children's Hospital in Atlanta on Thursday while wearing his Spider-Man costume.

Holland posted a photo on Instagram with a young fan with the caption, "Meeting you all today was such a wonderful experience and you're all such little inspirations. We're proud of you and we love and we hope to be back soon ❤️ and thank you for having us Egleston Children's hospital."

Holland posted a second photo thanking the Marvel team for orchestrating the visit, saying he "loved every minute of it."

Holland made his debut as Spider-Man/Peter Parker in Captain America: Civil War earlier this year.

His solo Spider-Man film hits theaters July 7, 2017 and will also star Marisa Tomei, Zendaya, Robert Downey Jr., Michael Keaton, and Hannibal Buress.
