PHILADELPHIA, July 29 (UPI) -- Chloe Grace Moretz urged millennial voters to hit the polls and elect Hillary Clinton in November Thursday during the Democratic National Convention.

The actress, a noted Clinton supporter, took the stage before the presidential nominee's speech and shared how exciting it is at 19 to vote in her first election.

"This November, I will be voting in my first general election. And I am so excited to say that my first vote for president will be for Hillary Clinton," Moretz said.

"You see, I registered to vote at the DMV the same day I got my driver's license, and it took just a minute. But I knew that it gave me the power of a lifetime. The power to make my voice heard and to shape the future of our country," she continued.

Moretz then tried to relay that excitement to other young voters who, according to the Neighbors 2 star, largely sat out of the 2014 congressional election in which only four out of five millennials cast ballots.

"So just imagine, imagine what can happen if we all make our voices heard this November at the ballot box she said. "We can elect a president who will fight to give every American a chance to graduate from college debt-free. We can elect a president who will fight for equal pay for equal work."

"Don't miss your chance to make this vote count. This is your chance to make your voice heard, because if you show up this Nov. 8, if we all show up together, we can make sure Hillary Clinton is the next president of the United States of America," Moretz concluded.

Notably, Moretz attended the event with her boyfriend Brooklyn Beckham, writing on Instagram before her speech, "Look who surprised me !!! We are Ready to watch @hillaryclinton make history," alongside a selfie.
