GREEN BAY, Wis., July 27 (UPI) -- Aaron Rodgers is breaking his silence on estranged brother Jordan Rodgers.

The 32-year-old NFL star wished his sibling well in an interview with WISN 12 after Jordan, a contestant on The Bachelorette Season 12, discussed their strained relationship on the ABC series.

"I haven't seen the show, to be honest with you, so it hasn't really affected me a whole lot," Aaron said of his brother's appearance on the dating show.

"I've always found that it's a little inappropriate to talk publicly about some family matters, so I'm just -- I'm not going to speak on those things, but I wish him well in the competition," he added.

Jordan had revealed he rarely speaks to Aaron on The Bachelorette's July 11 episode. The 27-year-old former NFL player was explaining to JoJo Fletcher why Aaron wouldn't be present during their hometown visit.

"I have a great relationship with my brother Luke," he said of his other sibling. "Me and Aaron really don't have that much of a relationship. It's just kind of the way he's chosen to do life."

"I love [Aaron] and I can't imagine what it's like to be in his shoes and have the pressure he has and the demands he has," Jordan added. "Don't have hard feelings against him, it's just how things go right now."

Sources subsequently told Entertainment Tonight that Aaron has been estranged from his entire family for years. Jordan had described his relationship with the Green Bay Packers quarterback as "complicated" in a June interview.
