Taylor Swift visits Australian children's hospital while traveling with beau

SUTH BRISBANE, Australia, July 12 (UPI) -- Grammy-winning pop star Taylor Swift spent Tuesday evening surrounded by children at Australia's Lady Cilento Children's Hospital, much to the thrill of its wards.

Swift, named Tuesday the largest grossing celebrity on the Forbes Celeb 100 list, is traveling with her new beau Tom Hiddleston and while he went off to work, the "Blank Space" star went to the hospital to see the kid, E! News reported.

"Thank you Taylor Swift for dropping by the Lady Cilento Childrens Hospital today for a surprise visit," Children's Hospital Queenland posted.

The hospital visit was coordinated by the Starlight Children's Foundation, a non-profit organization that supports teenagers through their sicknesses.

While Swift spent four hours visiting with the sick youngsters, Hiddleston went to work filming Thor: Ragnarok in which he reprises the role of Loki.
