As more new stages and enemy boss battles are highlighted, the trailer showcases the upcoming expansions influx of new gear, and weapons that players will be able to outfit their Guardians with. New Crucible modes and a new Raid will also accompany the package.

Notably, fan-favorite rocket launcher Gjallarhorn will be making its return after being left-behind during the ever evolving title's Taken King expansion. Players who preorder Rise of Iron will receive a limited-edition black and silver version of the weapon known for dealing heavy amounts of damage.

"Rise of Iron is an exciting addition to the Destiny universe," Bungie CEO Pete Parsons said in a statement. "We are continually blown away and inspired by the growing Destiny community's energy and enthusiasm."

Destiny: Rise of Iron launches on Playstation 4 and Xbox One Sept. 20. Unlike previous expansions, Rise of Iron will not be released for the Playstation 3 or Xbox 360. Bungie has stated more information will be revealed at the upcoming Electronic Entertainment Expo.
