DEKALB COUNTY, Ga., June 3 (UPI) -- A former member of Destiny's Child, Farrah Franklin, has been arrested and is reportedly awaiting bail. The singer, who was a part of the famous girl group for five months in 1999 and 2000, was apprehended for public intoxication and possession of marijuana Thursday after an argument broke out between her and a male friend, E! News reported.

The argument reportedly took place just outside a gym in DeKalb County, Ga.
According to TMZ, Franklin said she should've consumed more alcohol before facing cops. After officers asked her how much she had been drinking, the outlet reported she replied with "Not enough."
Her mug shot shows Franklin in an unorthodox pose from above. In the photo, she peers into the camera with her hand near her face as if posing for a glamour shot.
Franklin describes herself on Instagram as a "singer, actor host, producer," and has a new single titled "Magic And Makeup" out now. Her last post before her arrest showed a clip of her playing with a Snapchat filter.
"I finally gave in, lol!!!" the former DC singer wrote in the post's caption.
Her bail was set for $250. She is reportedly still in custody.
