WASHINGTON, March 30 (UPI) -- Chris Brown slammed singer Kehlani Parrish after she revealed she had attempted suicide.

The R&B singer took to Twitter to throw shade at the 20-year-old girlfriend of NBA star Kyrie Irving for allegedly seeking sympathy on Instagram Tuesday, claiming "there is no attempting suicide."

"Stop flexing for the gram," Brown wrote. "Doing [expletive] for sympathy so them comments under your pics don't look so bad."

In his Twitter rant, he also accused women of complaining about unfaithful men when "her DMs got more names then the Declaration of Independence."

Replacing an expletive with a poop emoji in regards to himself, the singer added "I'll be the BIGGEST PIECE OF [emoji]. But ima ride for my Homies regardless. KYRIE is probably one of the only good guys left."

Parrish attempted suicide Monday amid reports she cheated on her professional basketball player boyfriend Irving. In a since-deleted post on Instagram, the singer wrote: "Today I wanted to leave this earth. Being completely selfish for once. Never thought I'd get to such a low point."

"Don't believe the blogs you read. No on was cheated on and I'm not a bad person," she added along with a photo of herself with an IV in her arm.
