LOS ANGELES, Oct. 21 (UPI) -- Television icon and former host of The Price is Right, Bob Barker was recently hospitalized after falling outside his home in Hollywood Hills, according to reports.

Officers who witnessed the accident treated the alert and conscious 91-year-old until EMT's arrived to transport Barker to a nearby hospital.

Barker has already been discharged and is currently "resting at home and doing OK," his rep reported to Entertainment Tonight. "He works out every day and is disappointed that he'll have to take a little break until he heals," the rep added.

Barker is best known for hosting the game show The Price is Right for 35 years before retiring in 2007. He had previously done an 18-year stint as host of the quiz show Truth or Consequences.
