LOS ANGELES, Sept. 29 (UPI) -- Kim Kardashian and Kanye West's second child is reportedly expected to be born Christmas Day.

According to reports, Kardashian's pre-existing condition, which causes the placenta to attach itself too deeply into the uterus, has caused doctors to plan a natural birth on the Christian holiday; if it doesn't happen, a c-section may be in order.

Sources reveal the celebrity couple has already booked a private maternity suite at a Los Angeles hospital.

During an interview with C Magazine published earlier this month, the soon-to-be mother of two discussed her condition, called placenta accreta. "There were a couple of little operations to fix all that, so that created a little hole in my uterus," she explained, saying the hole made it difficult to get pregnant again. "It was a long road...I was trying everything."

Kardashian and West announced their pregnancy in May via a promotional clip for Keeping Up With The Kardashians.
