HOLLYWOOD, July 31 (UPI) -- Tom Cruise's latest Mission: Impossible flick raked in a whopping $4 million in theaters Thursday before expanding to over 3,000 locations.
The revenue from Mission: Impossible -- Rogue Nation's first evening showings is comparable to that of another summer hit, Mad Max -- which made $3.7 million. Paramount reports comparisons to other box-office hits like World War Z ($3.6 million) and Dawn of the Planet of the Apes ($4.1 million).
