Jessica Alba to launch Honest Beauty cosmetics line

LOS ANGELES, June 19 (UPI) -- Jessica Alba has a cosmetics line in the works.

The 34-year-old actress revealed she will launch Honest Beauty through her consumer goods company, The Honest Co., this week on Instagram.

"Something big is coming soon! And as Honest members, we want you to be one of the first to join our extended family: @Honest_Beauty," she announced.

Alba followed up by posting a photo of several red-hued lip gloss shades on the Honest Beauty Instagram, writing, "Take a first look at the development of our color collection." The line will debut in the fall.

Alba launched The Honest Co. in 2011, which is currently valued at $1 billion. The company carries non-toxic household items, including baby and children's products, and is available at retailers such as Whole Foods, Costco and Nordstrom.

Alba last appeared in the Entourage movie, and will star in The Veil with Lily Rabe. The actress is also scheduled for two Kevin Connolly (Entourage) films, Dear Eleanor and The Wright Girls, and Mechanic: Resurrection with Jason Statham.
