Mara Lane, Jonathan Rhys Meyers cuddle up in new photo

LOS ANGELES, May 27 (UPI) -- Jonathan Rhys Meyers and rumored fiancée Mara Lane cuddled up for a new photo Tuesday.

The 37-year-old Irish actor and Lane shared the snapshot on the latter's Instagram following Meyers' admission to a "minor relapse" in his recovery from alcoholism.

"Wishing you a lovely day and rest of week. With Love, J&M," the couple captioned the picture.

Meyers had apologized and assured fans he is "on the mend" after photos surfaced of him looking disheveled and drinking vodka on the street. The actor has sought treatment for alcohol abuse several times over the years.

Meyers and Lane have been together since 2014, and frequently post pictures together on social media. The actor was previously involved with Reena Hammer, daughter to makeup artist Ruby Hammer, from 2004 to 2012.

Meyers is best known for portraying King Henry VIII on Showtime period drama The Tudors, and went on to star as Dracula on NBC's short-lived series of the same name. The actor is scheduled for Stonewall with Ron Perlman and Damascus Cover with John Hurt.
