NEW YORK, April 27 (UPI) -- Mariah Carey may be taking a jab at Nick Cannon in her new song "Infinity". Fans are reading in between the lines of the lyrics from the song released Sunday and all signs point to the singer's ex-husband.
In the first verse, Carey sings: "Why you mad?/Talking about you're mad?/ Could it be that you just lost the best you ever had? ... Name hold weight like kilos/ Boy you actin' so corny like Fritos/ Wouldn't have none of that without me, though."
The couple called it quits last year after seven years of marriage.
It seemed that there was no bad blood between the parents of two, when the America's Got Talent host told Entertainment Weekly, "You got to live life and take hardships and things like that as hurdles that were made to jump over, If there's no issues within yourself or within your own family, then what other people say on the outside really doesn't matter."
Cannon vowed in a tweet back in December that he would never speak ill of his former lady love.
I will never say anything negative about @MariahCarey We are forever a family rooted in love.
