LOS ANGELES, March 27 (UPI) -- Empire co-stars Grace Gealey and Trai Byers are reportedly dating. The 30-year-old actress and 33-year-old actor portray Anika Calhoun, aka Boo Boo Kitty, and Andre Lyon on the Fox series, respectively. Sources told Us Weekly the couple felt an immediate connection after meeting on set and have been together ever since.

"They started seeing each other during the shooting of the show," an insider revealed. "There was an instant attraction, people working on the show are aware about it. When they all hang out together they'll cuddle and give a kiss, but it's nothing obscene."
Gealey and Byers sparked romance rumors by attending a wedding together this week, reports TMZ. The couple were affectionate but restrained, and a second source told Us Weekly the pair are "having a great time together."
Empire premiered in January and aired its season finale last week. The musical drama follows Empire Entertainment CEO and patriarch Lucious Lyon (Terrence Howard) as he grooms his sons to take over the company following his diagnosis with ALS.
