Sofia Vergara says wedding to Joe Manganiello isn't postponed

NEW YORK, March 16 (UPI) -- Sofia Vergara says her wedding to Joe Manganiello isn't postponed.

The 42-year-old actress revealed as much in an interview with Extra at PaleyFest on Saturday. Vergara previously told Page Six she and the actor are too busy to wed this summer, and Manganiello recently said he and the star are planning for the fall.

"I don't know, how can something be postponed when it has never been set?" Vergara asked of the couple's much-rumored wedding date. "It's really funny. It's always a lot of fun for girls to plan the wedding."

Vergara told Us Weekly she will promote her new film, Hot Pursuit, during her four-month hiatus from ABC sitcom Modern Family. The actress teased she will "hopefully...get to do something else during the hiatus," but failed to reveal any plans for the wedding.

Vergara and Manganiello have been together since summer 2014, and got engaged in December. The actress currently stars as Gloria Delgado-Pritchett on Modern Family, while Manganiello was recently replaced by Oliver Hudson on upcoming Fox series Scream Queens.
