PORTLAND, Ore., Dec. 29 (UPI) -- Keira Knightley still gets mistaken for other A-list celebrities.

The 29-year-old actress admitted as much in an interview with Australian newspaper The Daily Telegraph. Knightley was even accused of being rude by a fan after she was mistaken for and refused to take a photograph as Anne Hathaway.

"I think I have to apologize to Anne Hathaway because the woman [at the airport] thought I was being really rude as Anne Hathaway not giving her a picture as Anne Hathaway, but I was really only saying that I promised I wasn't Anne Hathaway, which I am not," she recalled.

"Actually it's the first Anne Hathaway I have had," she mused. "Generally, I get [mistaken] a lot [for] Rachel Weisz and Natalie Portman."

One of Knightley's earliest film roles was Sabé in Star Wars Episode I: The Phantom Menace (1999), a handmaiden and look-alike decoy for Padmé Amidala (Portman). The actress also told Graham Norton earlier this year she often is mistaken for singer Britney Spears.
