Dina and Clint Eastwood finalize divorce

MONTEREY COUNTY, Calif., Dec. 23 (UPI) -- Dina and Clint Eastwood are officially divorced.

A Monterey County Superior Court judge approved the dissolution of marriage Monday, according to TMZ. The 49-year-old former news anchor and 84-year-old director separated in June 2012, and Dina filed for divorce in October 2013.

Dina and Clint started dating after she interviewed him in 1992, and married in March 1996. The couple have one daughter named Morgan, who turned 18 years old December 12. Dina had requested primary custody of Morgan while she was still a minor.

Clint is well known for his many relationships, and was previously married to Maggie Johnson from 1953 to 1984. He has a son and daughter with Johnson, and another four children by three other women. He was most recently linked to hostess Christina Sandera.

The director will next release American Sniper on December 25. Bradley Cooper stars as Chris Kyle, a real-life Navy SEAL and the most lethal sniper in American military history. The film follows Kyle on his tours of Iraq, and depicts his troubled return home.
