Naya Rivera says she's 'in trouble' after dissing Kim Kardashian's magazine cover

LOS ANGELES, Nov. 14 (UPI) -- Naya Rivera has responded to the backlash that ensued when she criticized Kim Kardashian's controversial Paper magazine cover.

The Glee star took to Instagram Thursday to share a photo of herself covering her mouth as if surprised and captioned the image "#instagramgotmeintrouble."

The actress' post came two days after she criticized Kardashian's risque cover -- in which she poses nude with her backside fully exposed -- writing that she was "someone's mother."

When the media got wind of Rivera's comment, PR consultant Jonathan Cheban slammed the actress for trying to use the opportunity to get attention.

"Naya has always been a step BEHIND," he wrote in a blog post Wednesday. "After a year-long tour of impersonating Kim, she decided to come out of her shell and make a real statement about Kim's Paper cover ... As expected, she's getting some press and when all else fails, use Kim."
