The former Spice Girl was spotted chatting with her team and customers while inside the store. Backham's flagship store was inaugurated Thursday, but the designer missed the launch due to her attendance at the U.N. summit in New York City where she was appointed as a U.N. goodwill ambassador for AIDS charity UNAIDS.

Beckham took to Twitter soon after her visit to share a photo.

Beckham's husband, soccer star David Beckham made a surprise appearance during Thursday's store launch, where he filled in for his wife and caused quite the frenzy.
