Paris Jackson sparks pregnancy, engagement rumors

SALT LAKE CITY, Sept. 9 (UPI) -- Paris Jackson sparked rumors that she's pregnant and about to become engaged after being spotted shopping for rings with a rumored new beau.

Rumors about Jackson's alleged pregnancy began when she was seen with a "baby bump" while dining with an unidentified man, according to Viral Global News. The witness claimed to be convinced that the 16-year-old was with child after seeing her toast with water instead of wine. Jackson, however, is underage and won't be allowed to legally purchase alcohol in the United Sates until April 3, 2019 -- her 21st birthday.

The teen's sighting came just days after she was seen "shopping for what appeared to be engagement rings" with a new boyfriend. It is not clear if the two men are the same person.

Jackson is currently residing with her mother in Utah where she's reportedly undergoing treatment for depression.

Michael Jackson's eldest daughter last made headlines in June 2013 after she attempted to commit suicide by taking a number of Motrin pills and cutting her arm with a meat cleaver. It was later speculated that the outburst was prompted by a forbidden Marilyn Manson concert. The musician later reached out to Jackson and invited her to another show.

Jackson's grandmother Katherine Jackson told Hello! magazine in August 2013 Jackson was doing "much better."
