LOS ANGELES, July 8 (UPI) -- Stevie Nicks has a forthcoming solo album to promote, so you can expect to see much more of the Fleetwood Mac frontwoman in the near future.

One of her upcoming gigs is a role on the seventh season The Voice, which begins this fall. Nicks and Adam Levine announced Tuesday that the 66-year-old rocker would serve as an advisor to Levine's team.

"I just think it's a great show," Nicks told Extra on Tuesday. "Adam would never be sitting here seven years later if this wasn't a great show."

Advisors typically work backstage with contestants to help them choose song and guide them through arrangements. Previous advisors have included Taylor Swift and Lionel Richie.

This won't be Nicks first time on the show. She performed "Landslide" with season 1 winner Javier Colon back in 2011.
