Brad Pitt throws Matthew McConaughey a beer from balcony to balcony

NEW ORLEANS, May 19 (UPI) -- Brad Pitt is one good neighbor.

The Wold War Z star, who was staying at a hotel in New Orleans last weekend, was filmed throwing a beer across balconies to his neighbor Matthew McConaughey.

McConaughey was in the Big Easy filming a PSA alongside New Orleans Saints quarterback Drew Brees. After being alerted that Pitt was in the balcony across the street, the two actors chatted for a while before Pitt tossed McConaughey a cold one.

According to unconfirmed reports Pitt will follow in McConaughey's steps and play the lead role in the upcoming season of HBO's True Detective. You can check out a video of the actors' encounter below.
