Tom Cruise repeatedly relives his death in 'Edge of Tomorrow' teaser trailer

It's a new kind of Groundhog Day for Tom Cruise and Emily Blunt.

In the Edge of Tomorrow, a forthcoming sci-fi film based on Hiroshi Sakurazaka’s graphic novel All You Need Is Kill, Tom Cruise and Emily Blunt are stuck in a time loop, continuously reliving the day Cruise's character trains for and dies in a battle against invading alien forces.

Emily Blunt appears as a more talented fighter, who helps Cruise improve his battle skills with each repeated day.

Jeremy Piven and Bill Paxton also star.

Directed by the Bourne Identity's Doug Liman, Edge of Tomorrow hits theaters June 6.
