Johnny Weir's career hit a high note last month when he and BFF Tara Lipinski became everyone's favorite Olympic commentating team.

But Weir's personal life hasn't fared so well. The former figure skater announced his separation from his husband of two years, Victor Voronov, on Wednesday.

"It is with great sadness that I announce that my husband and I are no longer together. My heart hurts, and I wish him well," he tweeted.

“I have been sad for a long time,” he said in another statement. “And unfortunately don’t foresee a way to resolve our current marital issues.”

Weir and Voronov married in New York in 2011.

Radar reported March 4 that Weir had filed a police report against Voronov before the Olympic games, claiming that Voronov had bitten him. He later asked for the case to be dismissed.
