LOS ANGELES, Feb. 23 (UPI) -- Figure-skaters-turned-Olympic-commentators Johnny Weir and Tara Lipinski aren't out of a job just yet — they're on to the Oscars next. The two former figure skaters — especially Weir — made a big splash over the last two weeks for their fashion-foward presence at the Winter Olympics in Sochi, Russia.

On each day of their two-week stay in the European Weir posted Instagram photos of his latest fashion choices. He wowed audiences with faux wrap-around braids in his hair, dazzling necklaces, and colorful jackets and accessories.
He even got co-analyst Lipinski in on the action with a few eye-catching head pieces as well.
The rookie analysts turned enough heads to get the attention of the folks over at Access Hollywood, who are bringing them in as fashion commentators for the Academy Awards next week.
"We already have people pulling clothes," Weir told USA TODAY Sports. "We're going to be ready. And we're going to bring it."
