Amanda Bynes reunited with dog

LOS ANGELES, Aug. 10 (UPI) -- Amanda Bynes was reunited with her dog, which she allegedly doused in gasoline when she set a fire in her California driveway last month, TMZ reported.

Bynes' parents took custody of Sherbert, the Pomeranian, after the actress was placed on an involuntary psychiatric hold after she allegedly caused a disturbance when she tried to break into a retirement community in her hometown of Thousand Oaks, Calif.

The following night, she reportedly set a small fire in a driveway while holding Sherbert, which led to police involvement and her eventual hospitalization.

Bynes had been repeatedly asking to see her dog while in the psychiatric hospital, and her parents finally brought Sherbert for a 30-minute visit Thursday, TMZ said.
