A new video posted by Canadian pop star Justin Bieber on Instagram has sparked speculation that he may have been under the influence while filming it.

In the clip titled "Hahaha," Bieber makes use of Instagram's latest feature -- the ability to shoot video -- to explain to his followers that "there is video on Instagram."

"So crazy news guys," Bieber says as he giggles and walks shirtless. "There is video on Instagram."

The artist's sleepy eyes and uncontrollable laughter prompted several media sites to wonder if he was smoking marijuana at the time.

"From the quarter-of-a-minute clip, it was hard to tell if Justin had been been smoking a bong or just letting off steam with his pals after a stressful week," the Daily Mail wrote.

"Maybe he's just stoned. Who knows," wrote KPopStarz regarding the singer's giggles.

In January, TMZ uncovered pictures that seemed to show the "Girlfriend" singer smoking a joint with rapper Lil Twist. A month later, while hosting SNL, Bieber made fun of the incident and apologized to his fans claiming he was "really sorry" and promising that "he's never gonna do it again."
