Jeanne Cooper's character will die on 'Y&R'

NEW YORK, Nov. 8 (UPI) -- An anonymous U.S. collector has bought Claude Monet's 1905 "Nympheas" for $43.8 million at a New York auction, Christie's said.
The Wall Street Journal reported the work from Monet's water-lilies series was sold by the Hackley School in Tarrytown, N.Y., which received the painting as a donation from the family of the late investment banker Herb Allen.
The work was sold Wednesday as part of Christie's Impressionist and modern art sale.
