NEW YORK, Nov. 5 (UPI) -- Actresses Patti LuPone and Laurie Metcalf are to star in the U.S. premiere of David Mamet's play, "The Anarchist," producers announced.
Mamet will direct the show, which is to open next fall on Broadway, producers Jeffrey Richards and Jerry Frankel said in a news release Thursday. This is the sixth collaboration between Mamet and the producing team.
LuPone has previously appeared in Mamet's "The Woods," "All Men Are Whores," "The Blue Hour," "The Water Engine," "Edmond" and "The Old Neighborhood."
Metcalf was nominated for a 2008 Tony Award for her performance in Mamet's "November."
