DONALD TRUMP: U.S. real estate mogul Donald Trump has announced he won't seek the Republican presidential nomination, saying he wants to remain in the private sector.

"After considerable deliberation and reflection, I have decided not to pursue the office of the presidency," Trump said in a statement. "This decision does not come easily or without regret; especially when my potential candidacy continues to be validated by ranking at the top of the Republican contenders in polls across the country."

He maintained his belief that he could win the GOP primary and the general election but recognizes that running for public office "cannot be done halfheartedly," CNN reported.

"Ultimately, however, business is my greatest passion and I am not ready to leave the private sector," Trump said.

To his supporters, Trump pledged he would keep voicing his opinions "and help to shape our politicians' thoughts. My ability to bring important economic and foreign policy issues to the forefront of the national dialogue is perhaps my greatest asset and one of the most valuable services I can provide to this country."

Trump said he looked forward "to supporting the candidate who is the most qualified to help us tackle our country's most important issues and ... will have the courage to take on the challenges of the office and be the agent of change that this country so desperately needs."

Pollsters weren't giving Trump very good odds if he had undertaken a run.

"The numbers are very daunting," David Birdsell, dean of the School of Public Affairs at Baruch College in New York City, told ABC News Monday.

Marist College Poll director Lee Miringoff agreed: "The incline is very steep. He has all kinds of problems that would take a lot of undoing if he is really serious about it."

DON LEMON: U.S. television news anchor Don Lemon reveals he is gay in his memoir, "Transparent."

"College wasn't the only learning experience I undertook during my years in New York," UsMagazine.com quoted the Brooklyn College graduate as writing in his book. "I was also coming to terms with my sexual identity. Since I was knee-high to a duck, I've known that I was gay."

Set for release June 16, the book is dedicated to Tyler Clementi, the Rutgers University student who committed suicide last September after being taunted by classmates about his sexuality, UsMagazine.com said.

Lemon said in his book he told his mother about his sexual orientation, but "still chose to keep those secrets hidden from the world."

"I, like most gay people, lived a life of fear," he said. "Fear that if some employers, co-workers, friends, neighbors and family members learned of my sexuality, I would be shunned, mocked and ostracized. It is a burden that millions of people carry with them every single day."

TAMERA MOWRY: Actress and television personality Tamera Mowry has confirmed she married Fox News Channel correspondent Adam Housley in Napa Valley, Calif.

People.com said the couple's wedding took place Sunday at an inn and vineyard in front of about 300 guests. Among Mowry's eight attendants was her twin sister and matron of honor Tia Mowry.

"I've always wanted an outdoor wedding with lots of flowers," Mowry told People.com. "I feel so lucky to have this beautiful day marrying my best friend."

Tamera and Tia Mowry starred on the TV sitcom "Sister Sister," as well as the reality series "Tia &Tamera Take 2."
