LOS ANGELES, May 8 (UPI) -- Police in Los Angeles said soccer star David Beckham was involved in a relatively minor traffic accident on one of the city's busy freeways.
Beckham was not hurt and was not charged after crashing into a stalled car on Interstate 405 in the Torrance area, KABC-TV said Saturday.

The Friday mishap remained under investigation. The driver of the other car was taken to a hospital for treatment of neck pain, according to the California Highway Patrol.
Beckham, who achieved superstar status in his native England, plays for the Los Angeles Galaxy of the Major Soccer League in the United States.
