'Rio' tops box office for second week

LOS ANGELES, April 24 (UPI) -- The animated "Rio," featuring the voice of Anne Hathaway among others, took the No. 1 spot for a second week at the weekend U.S. box office with $26.8 million.

"Tyler Perry's Madea's Big Happy Family" was listed at No. 2 by Box Office Mojo, which provided the film's take for last weekend, $25.8 million.

"Water for Elephants" came in at No. 3 for last weekend's $17.5 million take.

"Hop" was No. 4 at $12.5 million this weekend, followed by "Scream 4" with $7.2 million.

"African Cats" took the No. 6 spot for its $6.4 million gross last weekend. "Soul Surfer" posted $5.6 million this weekend, followed by "Insidious" ($5.4 million) and "Hanna" ($5.3 million).

"Source Code" rounded out the Top 10 this weekend, grossing $5.1 million.
