MICKEY ROONEY: Mickey Rooney's stepson is denying he abused the Hollywood icon as Rooney has claimed.

Rooney, 90, recently obtained a restraining order against Chris Aber, claiming his stepson emotionally abused him and took control of his finances.

This week, Rooney called upon the Senate Special Committee on Aging in Washington to help end the abuse of elders by their caregivers.

"I'm asking you to stop this elderly abuse. I mean to stop it. Now. Not tomorrow, not next month, but now," he told the commission.

"I can barely speak. My stomach is knots. It hurts me very much," Aber told TV's "Inside Edition" Friday about Rooney's allegations.

Rooney's daughter, Kimmy Rooney, said members of the family thought something was going on but her father was too terrified to tell them.

"I think it's been going on longer than any of us would like to admit," she told "Inside Edition."

Aber said he is devastated his stepsister would think that.

"I love my sister very much," Aber said. "Once this blows over, we'll be friends again."

Mickey Rooney's film credits include "Boys Town," "Babes in Arms," the Andy Hardy film series, "Breakfast at Tiffany's" and "Night at the Museum."

He received a special Academy Award in 1938 and an honorary award in 1982, and was nominated for five acting Oscars. A five-time Emmy nominee, Rooney won an Emmy in 1982 for his performance in "Bill," as a mentally challenged man making his way into the world for the first time.

DAVID ARQUETTE: David Arquette's publicist says the actor is fine now, but was taken to a Los Angeles hospital after he was involved in a car crash Friday.

The "Scream" star and estranged husband of actress Courteney Cox allegedly drove his car into oncoming traffic in Beverly Hills, Calif., and collided with another vehicle while trying to avoid hitting a third car that stopped short, TMZ.com said.

The Beverly Hills Police Department told People.com the drivers were the only occupants of the cars. Both drivers were taken to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center where they were treated for minor to moderate injuries.

The collision was under investigation, People.com said.

Arquette and Cox separated last year. Arquette has since sought treatment for alcohol addiction in rehab and spoken publicly about his hopes of reconciling with his wife.

CAHRLIE SHEEN: Sirius XM Radio says it has created "Tiger Blood Radio," a 24-hour, limited-run channel dedicated to Hollywood actor Charlie Sheen.

The channel is to run from Saturday at 6 a.m. ET to Sunday at 6 a.m. ET on Sirius channel 108 and XM channel 139.

Sirius said Friday "Tiger Blood Radio" will "take listeners behind the headlines, exploring the media frenzy/media reaction, as well as the medical, psychological, psychiatric and pop-culture and celebrity angles. Additionally, through a recap of news coverage, it will offer a timeline of recent events."

Sheen, who has long battled an addiction to drugs, has engaged in a media blitz during the past two weeks, blasting his bosses at his long-running sitcom, "Two and a Half Men," as well as making grandiose claims about himself such as that he has "tiger's blood" and "Adonis DNA."

Following Sheen's erratic behavior, the producers of "Men" canceled the rest of this season of the show and the actor's estranged wife was granted a restraining order against him for herself and their twin toddler sons.

JIMMY FALLON: Ben & Jerry's has released a new brand of ice cream called "Late Night Snack" in honor of U.S. talk-show host Jimmy Fallon, NBC said.

The treat is the result of a collaboration of the ice cream giant, NBCUniversal Television Consumer Products Group and "Late Night with Jimmy Fallon."

"The unique new flavor features a rich vanilla bean ice cream with a salty caramel swirl and crunchy fudge covered potato chip clusters -- the perfect mix of salt and sweet for a late night snack," a news release touting the ice cream's introduction said this week.

"The concoction was inspired by a 'Late Night with Jimmy Fallon' skit in which Fallon and house band The Roots performed an original song, 'Ladysmith Snack Mambazo,' about Ben & Jerry's ice cream."

"When we learned that Jimmy Fallon was a fan of Ben & Jerry's, and he was willing to support the Fair Trade effort, we jumped at the chance to develop a new flavor inspired by his skit," Ben & Jerry's Co-founder Jerry Greenfield said in a statement. "Our team came up with a truly unique flavor that is one-of-a-kind, just like Fallon."

"Having our own flavor of Ben & Jerry's gives everyone here at 'Late Night' an excuse to do what we were doing anyway, staying up late and eating pint after pint of Ben & Jerry's ice cream. Only now we can call it 'research,'" added Fallon. "And we came up with the perfect combo of salty and sweet. I can't wait for people to try it."
