For sale: Rue McClanahan's apartment

NEW YORK, June 13 (UPI) -- Fans of Golden Girl Rue McClanahan can bid for the late star's Manhattan apartment, listed for $2.25 million.

The whimsically decorated co-op at 430 East 56th Street has three bedrooms, two baths and more than a dozen closets, People Magazine said.

The New York Times says there is a secret passage to a bathroom and a door sculpted to resemble a nude woman. The New York City property also comes with a 1,600-square-foot private garden and has floor-to-ceiling windows.

The Oklahoma-born McClanahan died of stroke June 3 at 76.
